Please click the link above for the podcast. Still working on the site but I have been very busy with my delivery business, which is an good thing.

I have also asked for my main job to be put down to part time so I can focus more on the delivery work.

Back to work for the day

Well, I got an email last night and I had to pop into work to sort some stock. It was nice to be back and a nice break from Lockdown.

Today I also received my new bluetooth keyboard for my 10″ tablet so I can now write pretty much anywhere. It might be just right for sitting by the pool in a nice hot county sipping something cold and with alcohol, but I can dream for now.

For anyone intersted I got the Jelly Comb Bluetooth Keyboard B046 which has a nice solid feel and built in Tablet holder for up to 11″ tablet. My Vankyo tablet fits perfect but I had to take the case off. You can fit a good range of tablets in this keyboard including the Kindle Fire 8 or 10.

Infact, I am typing my blog with it right now! It fits great on my lap and the viewing angle is pretty much fine. You will not be able to adjust the tilt but most modern tablets have a wide veiwing angle anyway.

Keep safe and more soon,

Gareth

Day after Birthday…

Ok, just letting my head clear, I did work this moring, up at 6am, out the door by 7am, then got my deliverys done by 9.40am! Yeah not good after yesterday but hangover is nearly gone and now have some work to to. The first thing is my Udemy copywriter course to continue. Then I have a podcast to record and put up and then I can relax a little.

I am also working on blog post for a friends site, nearly done and just need to read over and edit the document.

So while I feel a little rough, I should be able to rest for the day.

More later

Urgh! Mondays

Mondays can be that one day no one likes, I get it you know, the weekend has been great (unless on lockdown!) and now its time to get work done.

This morning and yes I know its 8.48am as I start to write this blog post, but I have already been looking at links and information already for works and ideas. The good thing for this this Monday is I am sat at home, drinking coffee and have a cat on my side as I work and can direct myself to what needs to be done. In a little bit I have some Fiverr training videos to study and a audio book to listen to as well.

Zeus our black and white rescue cat.

I also hope to get some work to deliver flowers for our friends downstairs this week so this will add funds to the new laptop and some basic office supplies so I can work from home. Its not that the 10 year old laptop is a problem, but I also have a few tablets I use if needed, but a nice new laptop would be useful for day to day tasks. Just need to find that old Windows tablet I had, still cant find it but as tech head I do have a few.

Oh! I have also started using my Linkedin account again as well, thanks to my buddy last night that reminded me to make sure thats updated. Working on that now.

So many thanks for reading and liking this post, I will be updating the blog a few times each week from now on.

Starting to move…

So, just as I start to look more into my freelance options, I have just completed my first step. I have just utilized my PC skills to help our local florist (which we live above) in sorting out the small business Covid19 claim.

Its nice to do something to help and help them out, but also got paid for it as well! This has also lead to me offer my driving skills to help with delivery’s starting Monday so that will also put some money in my pocket.

Funny how things can work in strange but good ways.
